Holidays at Children’s Lake

Join us and the Boiling Springs Civic Association for “Holidays at Children’s Lake” on Sunday, December 7!
Festivities begin at noon as Santa’s Village opens at the Gazebo with cookies, hot cocoa, candy canes, letters to Santa, a petting zoo, holiday crafts, birding information, story time, and photo boards. Enjoy live music by The Bubbler Band Christmas Ensemble starting at 12:30 PM. All activities are free.
New this year, the Kris Kringle Marketplace opens at noon on the 100 block of Front Street near the Clocktower. Shop for local gifts and stocking stuffers such as the 2026 Boiling Springs calendar, hand-knit hats, local honey, gourmet sauces, natural greenery, soy candles, goat milk soaps and lotions, local photography, charcuterie boards, pottery, and more. Sip a hot mulled wine or craft cocktail in a collectible KrisKringlemarkt mug, and explore delicious treats from food trucks, cupcakes, and gingerbread vendors.
At 1:00 PM, Santa will arrive by boat across the lake to greet children and take photos. Pick up a clothespin to join the queue to see Santa, and enjoy the free activities or browse the marketplace while you wait. Please note that at 4:00 PM, clothespin distribution will end, and no new entries will be added to the Santa line.
At 5:15 PM, the Boiling Springs High School Concert Choir will perform Christmas carols, followed by the lighting of the Tree on beautiful Children’s Lake.
