Bubbler Fieldhouse Project

The Bubbler Fieldhouse Campaign is an effort to reimagine the South Middleton School District Fieldhouse at Ecker Field for generations to come. Originally built in the 1950s and expanded by community hands more than 24 years ago, the fieldhouse has long been a place of pride and teamwork, supporting not only athletics but also physical education classes, marching band rehearsals, graduation ceremonies, student activities, community walkers, and youth leagues. But the aging structure now faces a failing roof, outdated restrooms and concessions, limited storage, and no centralized team or officials’ rooms, and it can no longer accommodate future growth. The new fieldhouse will feature modern, centralized team rooms, dedicated officials’ areas, ADA-compliant restrooms, expanded storage, revamped concessions, and a design built for future expansion—a space made for students, events, and the entire community.
