Wall of Acclaim Honorees - 2013
 Mr. Robert C. Cairns - Bob has served the South Middleton Community since locating here in 1974. Over the years, he has been an active member of the Exchange Club, Boiling Springs Civic Association, Trout Unlimited, Slate Run Sportsman Assoc., Yellow Breeches Anglers & Conservation Assoc. and the Carlisle Fish & Game Association (Yes, he likes to fish!). He served as Township Tax Collector for 12-1/2 years, coming out of retirement from this position to serve in 2008 until the present time.
He is an active member of Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church, serving in many capacities over the years. Bob
was nominated for this award by Mrs. Ann Failor.
 Dr. William DeMuth - Dr. DeMuth is a Medical Doctor specializing in Orthopedic Surgery, and is recognized as one of the best in Central Pennsylvania. He is very knowledgeable, very personable, listens to his patients and has excellent patient ratings. Dr. DeMuth has traveled to Honduras and twice to Haiti under the Cure International and World Surgical Programs.
He performed a number of children's orthopedic surgeries, several spine cases and general orthopedics on each of his trips.
Bill is a 1971 graduate of Boiling Springs High School, where he ran for the BSHS Track Team. He has also qualified and run the Boston Marathon in 2000, 2001, and 2002. Dr. DeMuth was nominated by Mr. Gary Ankabrandt. |
